SFU Engineers are patenting a new kind of silicon rubber that can conduct electricity.

Applied Sciences will become three new faculties by April of 2009. 1. Faculty of Environment consisting of REM, Geography and a number of programs and centres. 2. Faculty of Communication, Contemporary Arts and Technology, which will include SIAT in Surrey. 3. Faculty of Applied Sciences which will consist of only Computing and Engineering Science.
