There's no date on it, but I think it was probably done in the 1970's. Where are these people now? Do they know that their art has been left to rot at an unmaintained, overgrown site, hidden in the woods away from the view of all people? Ray Wesley has at least one other carving at SFU, a beaver-shaped bowl, which is kept in much better condition.

These are genuine totem poles, carved by a native artist many years ago and left in the woods. Over time, they have been largely forgotten, the trail has not been maintained, and the site has become overgrown. I rate this at a seclusion level of "5" because you'll have to do some bushwhacking if you want to see these beautiful works of art!
